This is an easy simple smoothie I make in the morning to get my day started. The inspiration for this came from the book "Fork Over Knives". The ingredients are simple and it taste pretty good. The ingredients are:
- Strawberries
- Frozen Peaches
- Pitted Dates
- Flaxseed Milk (can use other forms of alternative milk)
You can buy the strawberries and just put them in the freezer. This will make them all frozen and once you have to use them, you can put some water on the top to remove the leafy parts of the strawberry.
I have a magic bullet which makes my life easier to make my smoothie. I typically put 5 strawberries, 4 peach slices, 3 dates(the dates I typically cut them up before I put them in the magic bullet, it's easier to blend), and the rest I fill up with the flaxseed milk. It takes about 2 minutes in the magic bullet and you have a fresh and easy smoothie.
